About the team

Our IT Service Management team is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join us. As a member of our ITSM team, you will be responsible for managing and improving the delivery of IT services to our users. You will work closely with our technical teams to ensure that our systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

What you will be doing

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Change Management Lead to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the change management processes within our organisation, utilising the ServiceNow platform.

� Lead a team focused on change enablement within a large payments organization, reporting to the process owner.

� Develop and provide training and engagement programs for infrastructure and application change owners. Focus will include general process guidance, change policy and procedures.

� Develop and provide procedures and training for change analysts.

� Oversees change analyst reviews of completeness and quality of change information entered in the change management system (ServiceNow) and works with change analysts to correct deficiencies.

� Coordinates, convenes, and facilitates Change Advisory Boards (CABs) as well as Forward planning meetings, containing both internal staff and customers.

� Manage escalations from change requesters, change analysts and exception approvals.

� Reviews and follows up on non-compliant changes as well as changes which occur outside the defined processes.

� Works with all parties to coordinate and communicate change freeze and restriction periods, including approval requirements for exceptions to freeze periods.

� Represents the change process to senior leadership and process stakeholder groups, garnering continuous feedback.

� Oversee and interface with the design of process and tooling updates for change enablement.

� Demonstrates an overall understanding and knowledge of the supported applications and infrastructure in the production environment.

� Holds Post Implementation review meetings to identify lessons learned with failed change and change with issues.

� Other related duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.

� Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices

� Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills to build relationships and gain support for the ITSM processes

� Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

� Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines

� Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail

� Proficiency in the ServiceNow platform and experience in designing and implementing workflows
